50 Shades of Grey Goose
27 August 2015Sexy, seductive and French, that pretty much described my Tuesday evening. There’s nothing wrong with a tipple, especially when it is French. Grey Goose commandeered La Boulangerie for a 3-day pop up and I was invited to their opening night. As you enter the iconic Yellow building in Potts Point, you are greeted with a sparkling, Grey Goose-style – think St-Germain elderflower liqueur, lime juice, soda water and Grey Goose vodka.
The charcuterie board was the perfect complement to our Grey Goose Le Fizz, followed by a selection of bread and pastries to go with their Grey Goose preserves – La Poire, L’Orange and Le Citron.
Venture next door and you will find see a lavishly transformed space that is the Salon De Martini boasting a bespoke interior, a stunning bar with a wall of Grey Goose vodka as backdrop and what arguably are the best martinis in town. If martinis are not your thing, go for the Grey Goose in Fashion, guaranteed to tickle your tastebuds. Here we were treated with samples from the menu such as their Grey Goose Le Citron cured kingfish and braised lamb shoulder slider.
Grey Goose La Boulangerie is here for an extremely limited time. If you’re in town, check them out. I was told it was where the beautiful people hang out.
